The PwC partner appointed as the administrator for Lehman Brothers engaged Dickson Russell to oversee the disposal of the bank's art collection and ephemera from its Canary Wharf headquarters. Christie's South Kensington sale room was chosen as the optimum venue for the sale of the collection. The collection was successfully sold in a single owner sale in autumn 2010. An Andreas Gursky photograph was sold separately as a star lot at Christie's King Street.
