About Us
Rachel Dickson and Emma Russell have been in partnership since the early 1990s after they met working for a London commercial gallery where Emma was manager. Prior to this, Rachel worked at the Whitney Museum of American Art in New York and for an American art consultancy based in London on projects for clients including Goldman Sachs and Merrill Lynch, while Emma worked for a Dutch dealer of historic and modern prints, followed by a period at Phillips auctioneers as a specialist in the department of 20th century art.
Combining our curatorial expertise, art historical knowledge and management skills, our successful partnership provides a full range of art consultancy services to meet the needs of corporate, public sector and private clients.
The partnership holds no stock of work nor represents individual artists. We work with our clients on a project-by-project basis to offer advice, source, purchase, commission and deaccession artworks, as required, and can provide general services to curate and manage existing collections. This can involve valuing, cataloguing and research.
We have wide experience of developing and managing changing exhibitions of contemporary work for non-gallery audiences in non-gallery settings, both for the interior and the exterior, and guiding clients through the process of commissioning large-scale works for public spaces.
