Dickson Russell were invited to select artworks from the University of London art collection for a temporary loan scheme for display at the IALS's Denys Lasdun designed building in Russell Square, WC1. The works, including pieces by 20th century British artists John Edwards, Sean Scully and John Walker, were chosen to complement the mid-century concrete architecture. Paintings, photographs and drawings from the Institute's own collection were reframed to sit alongside and integrate with the loaned works - all have been re-displayed throughout the library and staff areas to provide visual interest and notes of colour.
